Inclusion Quality Mark

Inclusion Quality Mark

On 27 March 2019 we were delighted to welcome Sally O'Neill, a national Inclusion Mark Assessor. She completed a full and rigorous assessment of the school's work. She met with children, parents, staff and governors. We have now received the full report and are very proud of our Inclusion Quality Mark status.
The assessor stated that 'John Henry Newman Academy’s vision states: ‘Our vision is to have the courage to let your light shine in our community, to celebrate our successes and differences and to love and respect those around us.’ The Headteacher and staff team know the pupils exceptionally well and care deeply about the children and their families. They go ‘above and beyond’ to guide each child to achieve this vision and to be a kind and caring school community.'
The assessor has recommend we apply for Centre of Excellence status, so watch this space!
