This term in DT, we have been exploring seasonal vegetables in preparation for making our own vegetable tarts. The children learned about the climates different foods need to grow and discovered how some foods are imported to the UK. They also practised their chopping skills, learning how to hold a knife safely while preparing a variety of vegetables.
