In Term 1, we had an enchanting time diving into all things magical! One of the highlights was a visit from the cheeky wizard Mr Majeika, which inspired us to write creative potion recipes and even make our own magical mixtures.

Magic Day brought even more excitement as we created colourful, frothing potions and played magic-themed maths bingo.

In Maths, we consolidated our place value skills and used a range of manipulatives to support our learning about addition and subtraction.

We ended the term by proudly hosting our Year 2 Learning Exhibition, where we showcased our brilliant work to parents and carers. It was a fantastic way to celebrate all we’ve achieved — and we can’t wait to dive into our next topic, Villains, next term!
