Year 4 have made a brilliant start to learning their times tables! ️Each week, we have a dedicated session to practise and build confidence in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) later in the year. We begin with some quick rote learning focused on our times table of the week, before moving on to Soundcheck on Times Tables Rock Stars, where children can put their knowledge into practice. This game is a great way to prepare, as it closely mirrors the style and timing of the official check.

Our times table of the week this week is our 6s – keep an eye our for Tapestry, where we will send out updates on the times table of the week each Monday.  We’re so proud of the focus and effort Year 4 are showing already – some of us even achieved some personal bests this week!
