We’ve packed so much learning and laughter into our first term. In English, we’ve been diving into the world of Harry Potter, using it to inspire our own diary entries and letters imagining life as young witches and wizards at Hogwarts.

In Maths, we kicked off the year exploring place value before moving on to addition and subtraction, working confidently with numbers up to the thousands.

In Science, we’ve been learning all about food groups and the digestive system, discovering what happens to our food after we eat it.

In Spanish, we’ve started building simple sentences and learning how to introduce ourselves muy bien, Year 4!

In Design and Technology, we let our imaginations run wild by designing and creating our own fantasy beasts, then writing non-chronological reports about them in English.

In PE, we’ve focused on fitness and teamwork, pushing ourselves to move faster, stronger, and smarter. And in Music, we turned up the volume to learn about rock and roll, exploring rhythm, beat, and some classic tunes that got us all moving!

It’s been a fun-filled, creative, and active start to the year — and we can’t wait to see what Term 2 brings!
